The resistance movement “Hamas” in occupied Palestine has demanded that the United Nations Security Council take immediate action to stop the genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and enforce its resolution number 2735 for a ceasefire, holding the occupying state accountable.
In a statement, Hamas said that the UN Security Council meeting scheduled for Wednesday has been convened at the request of the Zionists, with support from the US, UK, and France. The meeting will discuss the files of Zionist prisoners and resistance fighters, while the systematic Holocaust of innocent Palestinians in Gaza continues.
The statement highlighted the ongoing war of massacre against innocent Palestinians by the extremist Zionist government and its terrorist army, both inside and outside the occupied state’s prisons in Gaza and the West Bank. It raises disturbing questions about how the international system and laws remain silent about the brutal killing of helpless and innocent women and children.
Pakistani Leaders’ Reactions to the Martyrdom of Hamas Leader Ismail Haniyeh
Hamas emphasized that the occupying army’s attempt to impose its false narrative regarding the deaths of six Israeli prisoners is a vile continuation of its lies that can no longer deceive anyone.
Hamas stated that the fate of Zionist prisoners in the Gaza Strip rests solely with the war criminal Netanyahu, who, along with his terrorist army, is fully responsible for the deaths of the six prisoners.
Hamas condemned Netanyahu’s military escalation policy and the failed attempts to free prisoners through force, noting that most of the Israeli prisoners were killed by the Zionist army.
Hamas warned that Netanyahu’s continuous intervention and policy of theft will create obstacles to reaching an agreement and endanger the lives of more prisoners.
Hamas called on the Security Council to stop the Zionist state’s aggression against unarmed Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
The statement further condemned the Israeli state for its ongoing genocide and ethnic cleansing crimes against innocent people in Gaza. It is time for the Security Council to investigate war crimes and genocide, where 50,000 Palestinians have been martyred and over 100,000 injured.
