General Faiz Hameed’s Allegations

Speaking to Program host, Marwat said, “The ISPR press release seems more like a political statement, making it difficult to draw any concrete conclusions.” He denied claims that PTI initiated dialogue following Faiz Hameed’s arrest, stating, “The DG ISI cannot strike deals independently. All deals come from the top. Why is Bajwa missing from this entire discussion?”
May 9 Events and PTI’s Position

PPP leader Shehla Raza, also present on the program, said, “In negotiations, both sides must show flexibility. It has been reiterated several times that dialogue is part of politics.” She advised PTI to engage in talks and encouraged the government to involve PTI but made it clear, “The founder of PTI will not be released, nor will the 26th constitutional amendment be revoked.”
PML-N’s Stance on Dialogue
PML-N leader Rana Ehsan Afzal commented, “There can be no dialogue with those who issue threats. We will not chase after you under such circumstances.” He accused PTI of spreading false propaganda and added, “PTI’s threats of civil disobedience are nothing more than a sinister attempt to harm the national economy.”
