Senator Faisal Vawda has emphasized the importance of resolving issues through dialogue, stating that discussions with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and other democratic matters will be addressed through democratic means.
Faisal Vawda Hope for Political Unity With PTI
In a message shared on the social media platform X, Faisal Vawda expressed hope that, following his efforts, a meeting between the Prime Minister and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would take place in the coming days. He stated, “Issues like those of Maulana Sahib, representation of MQM and BAP, and dialogue with Pakistan Tehreek Insaf will all be resolved democratically.”
Faisal Vawda Optimism for Responsible Politics From PTI
Faisal Vawda voiced optimism, saying, “My efforts will not go to waste, and political parties will act responsibly.” He further added, “Pakistan comes first, and political matters come later. I am playing my part for this cause and will continue to do so.”
A Critic Turned Advocate
It is worth noting that Faisal Vawda served as a federal minister during Pakistan Tehreek Insaf’s previous government. However, he parted ways with Pakistan Tehreek Insafand is now considered one of its critics. Recently, he met with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman. Speaking to the media after the meeting, he remarked, “Despite everything PTI has done, Maulana Fazlur Rehman showed sincerity, and I admire him for that.”
Protecting Imran Khan
The former Pakistan Tehreek Insaf leader also commented, “My agenda is to protect Imran Khan’s life from his wife, Bushra Bibi, and her close associates. Imran Khan has been my leader, but I have opposed his political approach. He needs to understand that even now, my efforts are aimed at saving him and shielding him from political crises.”
