Talented Karachi Youth Struggle to Secure Jobs Paying Rs. 50,000: Kamran Tessori

Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori has highlighted the Karachi Youth Unemployment Crisis, who are struggling to secure jobs even with salaries as low as 50,000 PKR.

Addressing the Nation’s Development

Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori, speaking at the convocation ceremony of Dawood University at Governor House Karachi, emphasized that the country’s development has been hindered by our own actions. He questioned the narratives being posted without thought, asking whose agenda they serve.

Karachi’s Resource Paradox

Tessori pointed out the irony of Karachi’s situation, stating, “There is so much water in Karachi that I am going to fill it up, and there is so much gas that mothers have left their stoves burning.” Despite these resources, the city remains underdeveloped.

Stagnation Despite 77 Years

He lamented that even after 77 years, the country has not achieved significant progress. “We have yet to see someone come and make the country better,” he stated.

Youth Unemployment Crisis

Governor Sindh expressed concern over the high unemployment rate among Karachi Youth Unemployment Crisis. “Despite the abundance of resources in this country, talented young people in Karachi are unable to find employment that pays even 50,000 PKR,” he said.

Urban Decay and Safety Concerns

He also highlighted the deteriorating state of Karachi, filled with garbage and dangerous dumpers that continue to crush citizens.

Justice and Accountability

Tessori noted that those involved in the events of May 9 have been punished, sparking a ray of hope. However, he stressed that the real punishments should be for the leadership of the political party responsible for pushing the Karachi Youth Unemployment Crisis forward.

The Quest for Justice

He pointed out that no one has received complete justice in this country to date. “The only new ray of hope is the SIFC,” he said.

Respect for Martyrs

Governor Sindh condemned the destruction of the Martyrs’ Memorial, calling it intolerable. “Those responsible for the events of May 9 will be punished, and justice will be served,” he concluded.
